F1: All Renault drivers will now get upgrade

Renault has decided all four of its Formula 1 drivers will use its upgraded power unit over the remainder of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen ran with the new system during Friday practice at the Marina Bay street circuit The change for the opening day brought him back in line in terms of engine usage with teammate Daniel Ricciardo and works duo Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer.
Specifically, Verstappen has received a new internal combustion engine, MGU-H, MGU-K and turbocharger, all his fourth of this season. For the upgrade, Renault has spent three tokens that focus around the ignition system and spark plugs to assist with the performance of a new fuel brought in for this weekend from Total.
Renault managing director Cyril Abiteboul had stated Ricciardo, Magnussen and Palmer would not receive the upgrade until the next race in Malaysia. However, it has now been determined those three drivers will all use it from final practice in Singapore on Saturday.
Crucially, the area of development on which the tokens have been used means there is no need for a complete replacement power unit, ensuring all four drivers are now on a par in terms of systems used.
