MOTOGP: Iannone ruled out of San Marino GP after crash

Ducati MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone has been ruled out of this weekend's San Marino Grand Prix.
The Italian crashed at the high-speed Turn 13 right-hander 10 minutes into
Friday morning's first practice session at Misano
. Following treatment and initial x-rays at the trackside clinica mobile, he was taken to the nearby Cesena hospital for further checks on his back.Iannone is understood to have sustained a micro-fracture to his T3 vertebra, and has been declared unfit, with his participation in the Aragon race later this month also uncertain.
Ducati will be represented by Andrea Dovizioso and test rider Michele Pirro, already running as a wildcard, this weekend in the absence of the Austrian Grand Prix winner.
