F1: Ericsson picks up grid penalty for Belgium

Marcus Ericsson will serve a 10-place Formula 1 grid penalty for the Belgian Grand Prix due to an engine change.

Sauber has been forced to replace the internal combustion engine [ICE] and turbocharger on the Swede's car going into this weekend's event at Spa. The ICE is the fifth to be used this year, however, the turbocharger is the sixth, and as such incurs a 10-place grid drop for Sunday's race.

The penalty means Ericsson, whose car sports a range of new updates this weekend, is likely to start from the back of the grid.
