NASCAR: Earnhardt press conference at The Glen to air live Friday
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is scheduled to appear at news conference Friday at Watkins Glen, site of this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup race, to provide the latest update on his concussion-like symptoms and the timing of his return to racing. NBC Sports Network will air the news conference live, beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
Earnhardt confirmed earlier this week that he would sit out at least an additional two races
– Watkins Glen and at Bristol on Aug. 20. Jeff Gordon will continue to drive the No. 88 Chevy in Earnhardt's absence.
