
Lime Rock announces 'Road to 60' program
Lime Rock Park has announced the launch of "Road to 60." a multi-faceted program designed to offer the opportunity to become an importantand fully acknowledged part of Lime Rock's future.
Lime Rock Park's 60th anniversary is next year. The road that brought Lime Rock Park to this hallmark was laid April 28, 1957, when Lime Rock opened its gates for the very first time – and 7,000 fans showed up to watch the SCCA's New England Region hold the first-ever races on the 1.5-mile, 7-turn road course. In the six decades since, Lime rock's history can almost be said to be America's sports car racing history, so inextricably entwined are the two.
Road to 60 is a rare opportunity for fans, sponsors, competitors and even media to become directly identified with Lime Rock's heritage, to be part of the future of motor racing in the United States. In other words, to ready Lime Rock Park for its next 60 years.

- Improving cellular coverage, wi-fi service and the PA system
- Expanding restroom and shower facilities
- Improving handicap access facility wide
- Further landscaping and beautification of the venue
- Expansion of medical facilities
- Improved fan & corporate hospitality infrastructure
