IMSA: Patriotic liveries set for Watkins Glen

Racecars with patriotic-themed liveries from several IMSA-sanctioned series competing over Independence Day weekend at Watkins Glen participated in a photo shoot late Thursday afternoon. The headline event of the weekend is the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen on Sunday featuring the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The event also represents the third round of the 2016 Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup.

Six of the seven racing series sanctioned by IMSA are competing at Watkins Glen including the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama, Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama, Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo and Mazda Prototype Lites presented by Cooper Tires.
