GT: Meyrick back to Bentley for Spa with Parker

Former Bentley factory driver Andy Meyrick will return to the wheel of the one of the British manufacturer's Continental GT3s for the Spa 24 Hours next month.

Meyrick, who raced for the M-Sport Bentley squad in 2013-15, will drive for Team Parker Racing in the double-points round of the Blancpain GT Series on July 30/31.

The 30-year-old will share Parker's pro-am class entry with regular drivers Tom Onslow-Cole, Callum Macleod and Ian Loggie.

Meyrick said: "I've been involved in the Bentley program from the start so it will be good to race a Continental again. We have a great driver line-up and a great team behind us, so we are looking for a strong result."

Team boss Stuart Parker described Meyrick as the "perfect fit for the team."

Meyrick, who finished runner-up in the Blancpain Endurance Series with M-Sport in 2014 and '15, has an ongoing role with the team coaching British GT Championship drivers Seb Morris and Rick Parfitt Jr. He began the season racing the DeltaWing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship.

Parker won the amateur class at Spa last year with an Audi and a driver line-up that included Macleod and Loggie.
