INDY LIGHTS: Rosenqvist to miss Road America, Iowa

Reigning Formula 3 European champion and two-time Macau Grand Prix winner Felix Rosenqvist is to skip the next two Indy Lights rounds.
The 24-year-old lies sixth in the points with one win to his credit with Belardi Auto Racing, but is missing this weekend's Road America round and the following event at Iowa Speedway due to his Mercedes commitments. The Swede is racing an ASP-run Mercedes in the Blancpain Sprint Cup as well as acting as reserve driver for the manufacturer's DTM line-up. He will be at the Norisring on DTM duty this weekend, while the Iowa round clashes with other commitments.
Rosenqvist knew going into the season that he would have to miss some Lights rounds, and is anticipating further date conflicts later in the year.
"We've known from the outset that there was a possibility of certain clashes this season, so it's something we've all been aware of and have planned for," said Rosenqvist. "It's obviously a shame to miss a number of races in the U.S., but I look forward to spending the weekend with Mercedes-AMG in the DTM paddock at Norisring."
Rosenqvist will be replaced at Road America by James French, who competes in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship's one-make Prototype Challenge class.
