LM24: Fox announces broadcast schedule
FOX will host the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans across its FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 cable networks, and stream the entire race on its FOX Sports GO digital service.
FOX veterans Bob Varsha and Brian Till will share hosting rotations with Calvin Fish, Tommy Kendall, Jamie Howe and Scott Pruett. Pit reporting duties will be covered by Justin Bell and Andrew Marriott, Sam Posey will provide the opening piece for the broadcast, and author A.J. Baime – whose book "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans" tells the tales of the great rivalry that began at Le Mans 50 years ago – will also join the announcing team to add context to Ford's return to the 24-hour race.
"From my first Le Mans in the mid-1980s, the 24 Hours has been my favorite event in motorsports," Varsha said. "Nine decades of spectacular history, drivers and teams from nearly 30 countries, extraordinary mechanical diversity on the grid, a quarter-million spectators and the sheer audacity of racing state-of-the-art machinery on an eight-plus mile lap made up mainly of public roads is simply a fan's dream. And with this year's field expanded to 60 cars, there is so much more of everything."
Starting Saturday, June 18, the 24 Hours of Le Mans will air at the following times and channels (all times ET):
FS1: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 PM
FS2: 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 PM
