
Updated TV Ratings: Indy 500 qualifying, NASCAR All-Star Race
IndyCar's latest revision to the qualifying procedure for the Indianapolis 500 produced a 0.89 overnight rating for Sunday's pole showdown on ABC, while Saturday's show scored a 0.71. That compares with a 0.8 for Pole Day last year – which featured no actual qualifying due to weather- and accident-caused delays (the actual qualifying session aired on the ESPN News channel, where it had a 0.1 rating). Last year's Saturday qualifying show on ABC, also affected by rain, scored a 0.5 rating.
NASCAR's Sprint All-Star race scored a 1.7 rating on FOX Sports 1 Saturday night, averaging 3.3 million viewers.
The Camping World Truck Series from Charlotte on Saturday averaged 966,000 viewers on FS1.
NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing finals from Topeka averaged 551,000 viewers on FS1.
MotoGP from Mugello averaged 31,000 viewers on BeINSports.
