GT: Rosenqvist adds ADAC Masters outing with Zakspeed

European Formula 3 champion Felix Rosenqvist will link up with ex-Formula 1 team Zakspeed for an additional Mercedes GT outing in Germany this weekend.

Rosenqvist is combining an Indy Lights program, a Mercedes DTM reserve role and a race seat with Mercedes team ASP in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup this year. He has now accepted an offer to pair up with Nikolaj Rogivue in a Zakspeed-run Mercedes AMG GT3 for the opening round of Germany's ADAC GT Masters series at Oschersleben this weekend as well.

"It's all happened very quickly and I've never worked with the team before, so once again it will take some adapting," said Rosenqvist, who heads to Oschersleben fresh from the Blancpain opener at Misano last weekend.

"Technically, however, it's going to be quite similar to Misano – it's the same car, the same tyres and a similar type of track. Hopefully, that will help me get into things."

Rosenqvist and teammate Tristan Vautier were on course for the podium in the main Blancpain race at Misano before a fuel feed problem forced their retirement with two laps to go.
