SAFEisFAST: Understeer vs. oversteer, Part 1

Fellow racers:

Our NASCAR friends have a nice simple description of the difference between Understeer and Oversteer: "Understeer (push) is when you hit the wall with the front end of the car. And Oversteer (loose) is when you hit it with the back end."

Unfortunately, it's a bit more complicated than that. And in our new SAFEisFAST four-part series – "Understeer vs. Oversteer" – a group of top drivers and race engineers really explain the deal.

Episode 1 examines how it all works – along with which is faster. Interesting stuff if you're interested in going faster.
