NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump for president at a rally for Trump in Georgia on Monday, where NASCAR former and current drivers Bill Elliott, his son Chase, Ryan Newman and David Ragan also made appearances. The action drew the ire of Marcus Lemonis – the CEO of Camping World, title sponsor of NASCAR's Truck Series – who posted the following on Twitter:

The Lebanese-born Lemonis has voiced objections to Trump in the past for his positions on immigration.

NASCAR spokesman David Higdon told ESPN that France was not speaking for NASCAR when he endorsed Trump.
