Montoya, Penske receive their Baby Borg trophies
DETROIT -- The spoils of their victory in the 2015 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race kept coming for driver Juan Pablo Montoya and car owner Roger Penske on Jan. 13. Each received his own miniature replica of the iconic Borg-Warner Trophy that features bas relief sculptures of the face of every Indianapolis 500 winner.
The "Baby Borgs" were presented to Montoya and Penske at a reception and dinner hosted by Borg Warner in conjunction with the annual North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Montoya's thrilling win in 2015, when he charged back from 30th place to win in the fourth-closest finish in race history, was his second Indy 500 triumph. For Penske, the 2015 victory was his 16th, the most for any team owner.
Montoya and Penske will return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May to defend their triumph in the historic 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. For more information on month of May activities and to purchase tickets, visit ims.com.
