ELMS: Tincknell completes Jota lineup
Harry Tincknell will contest the European Le Mans Series for a third consecutive season with the Jota Sport team in 2016.
The Briton, who finished third in the ELMS points last year and second in 2014, will share the Jota Gibson-Nissan 015S LMP2 with team co-owner Simon Dolan and new signing Giedo van der Garde.
Tincknell, who took P2 class honours at the Le Mans 24 Hours with Jota in 2014, said: "My aim is to win the European Le Mans Series Championship title. We've had a lot of success together over the past two seasons and I believe we've grown stronger as a team each year."
The deal does not cover the Le Mans 24 Hours, at which Tincknell's place will be taken by Jake Dennis.
Tincknell made the switch to sportscars with Jota for 2014. He signed up for Nissan's LMP1 program for 2015, but returned to the Jota fold for the ELMS opener at Silverstone when the Japanese manufacturer pulled out of the event and subsequently remained with the team for the rest of the series.
