RACER.com and motorsportauctions.com create U.S. promotional alliance

RACER and United Kingdom-based motorsportauctions.com announce today an alliance that will extend the reach of motorsportauctions.com into the United States beginning January, 2016.

Motorsportauctions.com is a global online marketplace developed as a listing platform for the motorsport industry to sell current and historic race and rally cars, collector cars, parts, surplus stock, equipment, transporters and the myriad of other items that are connected with the day-to-day operation of a successful team within the industry.

"We are very pleased to form this alliance with motorsportauctions.com. A big part of RACER's mission, beyond great storytelling and analysis, is to bring together people and organizations that help motorsport thrive at all levels," says RACER founder and president, Paul Pfanner.

"Aligning with motorsportauctions.com is a part of that strategy, helping racecars and related items go to the right people to keep them where they belong – on the racetrack."

RACER.com's strong motorsport industry audience base, along with a strong base of collectors and avid enthusiasts, will provide motorsportauctions.com an immediate reach into a market currently underserved when it comes to a comprehensive listing of race and rallycars. RACER's current marketplace and classifieds will be consolidated online through the motorsportauctions.com listing platform.

Motorsportauctions.com had its busiest month in December of 2015. A greater North American presence will undoubtedly help accelerate the growth curve, and with a number of enhancements to be introduced to the website over the next three months, motorsportauctions.com continues to strive to bring the best possible internet based listing platform to the Motorsport Industry.

"Our growth in the U.K. market and globally has been exceptional, but as with most industries, it's not possible to truly be a global player without a toehold in the U.S. Now with our RACER.com alliance, we've gained instant access to the very market we built to serve," says motorsportauctions.com principal, Graham Lorimer.

A co-branded module is set to appear on RACER.com and selected offerings will also be listed with the marketplace sections of RACER and SportsCar magazines.
