CTSC: Valiante and Gilsinger set for 2016 return with ST HART Civic

Michael Valiante re-joins Chad Gilsinger in the No. 93 Honda Civic Si for the 2016 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge championship for the Honda of America Racing Team and HPD. The duo will target success in the ST class through the 10-round championship that will open at Daytona on Jan. 27. 

Building on a record of success that has seen the duo combine for four wins and seven podium finishes in 2013 and 2014, the duo looks to continue the success in 2016. Valiante took a year sabbatical from competing in the IMSA Continental series while focusing and going on to finish second in the IMSA Prototype category.

"I am really looking forward to joining the team again and driving the latest Civic,” said Valiante. "We have a great driver line up and a very dedicated team of mechanics who volunteer to make this such a great effort. It has been a pleasure to see us achieve success in a short amount of time and I am pleased to be part of it again.  I will miss driving the porotypes this year but I look to forward to other new exciting challenges after helping bring so much success to the Visit Florida team.”
