Shea Holbrook Joins Face Off Campaign in Support of the Women's Sports Foundation's Travel & Training Fund Program
In the spirit of thanks-giving, join Shea Holbrook and the world's top female athletes in their efforts to raise important grant dollars for the next generation of women champions through the Women's Sports Foundation's Travel & Training Fund Program.
Your donation will help fuel the journeys of other aspiring champions toward regional, national and international sports competition. The WSF Travel & Training Fund Program provides direct financial assistance to individual athletes and teams, helping women reach their full potential – an experience that prepares them for leadership now and in the future.
Since 1984, the program has provided grants to more than 4,000 women including figure skater Michelle Kwan, the U.S. Women's Water Polo, Softball and Boxing Teams, gymnast Gabby Douglas and swimmer Mallory Weggemann, many of whom have gone on to win national and world championships, Olympic and Paralympic medals, and provide inspiration to millions of girls and boys around the world.
Most recently, WSF awarded $140,000 to 32 athletes and teams with support from Gatorade and last year's Face Off donors. Yet, funding is scarce and there are many more women who need assistance. Thanks for joining our team. We appreciate your support!
