TV ratings: Martinsville, Mexico-79736

The Martinsville NASCAR Sprint Cup meltdown between Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano drew a 1.9 overnight rating, averaging 3.4 million viewers. Like the other NBCSN races this year, it was a hefty drop-off from last year's rating on ESPN (2.3). The Martinsville race marked the final Cup race on NBCSN, however, with the rest of the season airing on free-to-air NBC, which will allow for a more direct ratings comparison with last year.

Formula 1 again enjoyed the broadcast network side for the Mexican Grand Prix, but had to settle for a 0.6 rating as it went up directly opposite Martinsville. That was just a tick lower than the previous week's USGP (0.7) but marked the lowest rating of NBC's four F1 race this season.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race from Martinsville averaged 588,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1 on Saturday afternoon.

NHRA Mello Yello drag racing eliminations from Las Vegas averaged 368,000 viewers on ESPN2 Sunday night.

The finish of the FIA World Endurance Championship race from Shanghai on FOX Sports 1 – airing in the small hours of Saturday morning – averaged just 37,000 viewers.
