MOTOGP: British race moves to September

MotoGP has revised its 2016 calendar, with the British Grand Prix moving back two months from July to September.

The last Formula 1 calendar shake-up had shifted its British GP to July 10, just a week before the planned MotoGP date at Silverstone. The motorcycle grand prix series will now move to Sept. 4.

Britain's race is one of four to alter dates on the updated MotoGP calendar, with Germany moving back a week to fill Silverstone's old slot, Malaysia dropping back two weeks and the Valencia finale taking place a week later than before.
