RACER: Robin Miller with Kevin Swindell
Two months after being partially paralyzed from the waist down in a sprint-car crash at Knoxville, Ia., Kevin Swindell is making amazing progress and discusses his recovery with RACER's Robin Miller.
The 26-year-old suffered spinal fractures when his World of Outlaw car flipped and slammed into the ground during a heat race for the Knoxville Nationals on August 11th. After two operations, Swindell has spent the past few weeks in Louisville undergoing daily therapy and already regained some feeling in his legs.
