The first month of eBay auctions in support of the Justin Wilson Children's Fund have generated $482,144.94 through donated 411 items. Along with the $24,000 raised by 2012 Verizon IndyCar Series champion Ryan Hunter-Reay, who auctioned one of his custom racing helmets at a Yellow Party charity fundraiser, and the $50,000 raised in a similar private helmet auction by Graham Rahal, the total received so far for Wilson's wife and daughters has reached $556,144.94.

], there are still plenty of exclusives to take home. Of note, IndyCar fans have a chance to win the right to name Grace Autosport's Indy 500 entry for next year's 100th running of the great race, and IndyCar legend Arie Luyendyk has donated a helmet featuring autographs from 18 Indy 500 winners.NASCAR fans can bid on a signed driving suit from Dale Earnhardt Jr., Formula 1 fans have an amazing opportunity to get a tour of McLaren's Technical Centre in England, and items from Formula E, Global Rallycross, and other series are also represented among the active auctions.
A final batch of items is also expected to go live prior to the Oct. 26 auction close. Aston Martin Racing has sent a signed piece of V8 Vantage bodywork (ABOVE) that was facilitated by Wilson's countryman (and AMR driver) Darren Turner.
Along with the prized GT bodywork, Wilson's former RuSPORT Champ Car team manager Jeremy Dale has pulled from his personal memorabilia collection to contribute one of Wilson's race-worn driving suits (LEFT) and a pair of racing boots used by his dear friend. The suit and both shoes were signed by Wilson before going into Dale's collection, and Wilson's wife Julia approved their donation.
Close to $600,000 is expected to be raised by the close of the auction.
