C.J. Wilson Featured Guest On Tonight’s 'Jay Leno’s Garage'


Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge team owner C.J. Wilson will talk cars with Jay Leno during tonight’s second episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, airing on CNBC at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The star pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will also take Leno for a ride in the streets of Los Angeles in the No. 33 Fantasy 

Garage/Alpinestars Porsche 911 that competes in the Grand Sport (GS) class.To promote the appearance, he will also appear live on today’s Power Lunch on CNBC at 2:40 p.m. EST.“Although we did not break any speed limits driving around in our GS car, it was a lot of fun and somewhat reckless to have it on the road with Jay,” Wilson said. “He's a genuine car guy to the highest level, his knowledge and more importantly his storytelling skills were incredible. It was great to share some of my passion for the sport with such a down to earth guy.”Running in its first season, Episode One of the show first season had a phenomenal audience of 916,000 viewers. 272,000 of those were in the 25-54 age group with 496,000 being in the 35-64 demographic. CJ Wilson Racing fielded the No. 33 Porsche in two races this season, with its best finish seventh at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, driven by Marc Miller and Tyler McQuarrie. The team won the Street Tuner (ST) team and driver championships, with Stevan McAleer and Chad McCumbee winning two races and scoring four podium finishes in the No. 5 ModSpace Mazda MX-5.
