TV Ratings: Dover, Petit Le Mans

Last weekend's events continued the current trend for racing TV in football season.

Dover's NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase race at Dover scored a 1.8 overnight rating on NBCSN, peaking at 3.2 million households. That's a tick higher than the previous week's race, but still tied as the fourth-lowest overnight of the year for Cup.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover Saturday night scored a 0.6 overnight, averaging 1.1m viewers.

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing from Maple Grove averaged 430,000 households on ESPN2 Sunday night.

The replay of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship's Petit Le Mans on FOX Sports 1 Sunday afternoon netted 63,000 viewers. Figures for the live telecasts on FOX Sports 2 were not available.
