Formula E limits in-season driver changes
Formula E teams will be limited to two driver changes per car during the 2015-'16 season.
Other than instances of force majeure, at the discretion of stewards, the new regulation also blocks changes across the final three races. The area was unregulated in the inaugural campaign, with a total of 30 drivers making starts across 10 teams with 20 seats.
Only four squads – e.dams, ABT, Venturi and Mahindra – fielded the same two drivers at all 10 events, with eight different drivers appearing for Andretti.
All drivers in the second season will be required to hold the FIA's new "e-license," based on having scored 20 Formula 1 superlicense points during the last three years.
