FIA renews promoter agreement for FIA Formula 3 European Championship

FIA President Jean Todt and Walter Mertes, CEO of the Formel 3 Vermarktungs GmbH have today met in Geneva and signed the contract extending the present agreement.

It is the first renewal of the agreement among the parties, since the FIA appointed Formel 3 Vermarktungs GmbH as its Formula 3 championship promoter back in 2013.

The continuation of the contract with the current promoter will ensure consolidation of an already strong championship, and will result in securing the championship`s stability as well as predictability and strong perspectives for all its stakeholders on a long term basis.

The FIA and Formel 3 Vermarktungs GmbH are looking forward to jointly improving and strengthening the FIA Formula 3 European Championship`s assets and to maintaining its already strong growth.
