GP3: Maisano gets Campos drive for Monza
Former Ferrari protege Brandon Maisano will join the GP3 field at Monza this weekend in Campos Racing's third car.
Maisano began the year in the Formula 3 European Championship with Prema Powerteam but ended his program midway through the series' last event at the Red Bull Ring. He will drive the Campos entry that has been occupied on occasion by Samin Gomez and Christopher Hoher earlier this season, joining Zaid Ashkanani and Alex Palou.
In other changes to the GP3 line-up for Monza, ART Grand Prix driver Alfonso Celis is set to prioritize his parallel program in Formula Renault 3.5, which has a clashing event at Silverstone.
Sources indicate that ART will just field two cars for title contenders Esteban Ocon and Marvin Kirchhofer rather than replacing Celis.
