Ownership change for Historic SportsCar Racing

Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) officials announced today that longtime HSR member Jim Pace has taken over part ownership of HSR from vintage racing stalwart Peter McLaughlin.

"My goal has always been to see a successful HSR and I believe Jim will be a tremendous asset to help achieve that goal," said McLaughlin.

"Thank you to Peter McLaughlin for having the confidence in me to carry on the dedication to vintage racing through HSR events," said Pace. "The participants of HSR make the events successful and I am eager to share the racing passion with them going forward."

HSR President David Hinton added: "Peter McLaughlin has been a part of historic racing in the United States for many years. We all owe him a great deal of thanks for helping to shape the sport into what we enjoy today. Jim's extensive experience in many aspects of motorsports as a longtime Skip Barber instructor, professional race driver and historic competitor will only add to the quality, sportsmanship and safety of our events,"
