RACER: Robin Miller with PJ Jones and sons

The third generation of racing Jones descended on Indiana and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this week as Parnelli's grandsons got to embrace his history as well as continue their careers.

Jagger (12) and Jace (10) Jones, sons of P.J. and Jolaina Jones, sat in grandpa's famous Calhoun roadster at the IMS museum along with his Oly Bronco off-road truck and the Indy winner of Al Unser when he drove for Rufus and Vel Miletich.

P.J. then drove them to New Castle where they're competing this weekend in the SKUSA Summer Nationals at Mark Dismore's go-kart track.

"They both raced in Italy last year and they're going back in October but this is the first time they get to race at Mark's place," said Jones, who made his mark in IMSA driving for Dan Gurney and also ran in CART and IRL. "They got the racing bug and they're both pretty good so we'll see what happens down the road."
