Rezzetano Fastest in GTS Practice at Road America


ELKHART LAKE, Wis. -- Pirelli World Challenge GTS Drivers' Championship points leader Kurt Rezzetano was fastest in Friday morning's 30-minute GTS practice session at the DeVilbiss Grand Prix at Road America presented by Cadillac.

Early on, Rezzetano, from Phoenixville, Pa., cobbled together a lap mark of 2:19.852 in the No. 37 Calvert Dynamics/Phoenix Performance/Phoenix American Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302.

Rezzetano was followed by Mark Wilkins, of Toronto, Ontario, in the No. 38 PutOnTheBrakes.Org/Kinetic Motorsports/Kia Racing Kia Optima with a time of 2:19.852 and Andrew Aquilante, from Chester Springs, Pa., with a mark of 2:19.961 in the No. 32 Calvert Dynamics/Phoenix Performance/Phoenix American Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302.

Rounding out the top-five racers were Nick Esayian, from San Diego, Calif., in the No. 34 Special Operations Warrior Foundation/Stephen Cameron Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 with a time of 2:20.528, and Lou Gigliotti, of Dallas, Texas, in 2:21.283 in the No. 28 LG Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
