SVRA video preview: Mid-Ohio

What's ahead as the Sports Car Vintage Racing Association heads to Mid-Ohio Sports CVar Course this weekend.

This will be the 33rd consecutive year that SVRA visits the historic, 2.4-mile Mid-Ohio circuit.This track has previously hosted every major amateur and professional race series in the U.S. Mid-Ohios park-like setting and challenging, 15-turn configuration make it a favorite with both fans and competitors. Over 250 competitors are expected to participate in this Grand Prix weekend.

Like all SVRA events, spectators will have access to the paddock areas, allowing for unlimited photo opportunities and up-close, in-person interaction with the drivers, crews and cars. In addition to the sprint races, there will be two Hawk Performance Endurance Series events, non-stop action in SVRA's 11 race groups, and a Stuttgart Cup series race during the weekend. Vendors row will showcase all types of racing clothing, photos and memorabilia.

On Saturday evening, Mid-Ohio and SVRA will once again host their picnic barbecue at the Honda Pavilion, followed by a live band and dancing well into the evening.
