RACER: Robin Miller on keeping IndyCar at Fontana

The second leg of IndyCar's Triple Crown is set for June 27 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., and its less-than-an-ideal date or time (1:30 p.m.) but track president Dave Allen has pulled out all the stops to try and draw a Saturday crowd to the MAVTV 500.

Besides a $40 general admission ticket and $25 for a garage/pit pass, Allen is giving Triple A members a $10 discount on any reserved seat and $5 off for qualifying on Friday.

He's also offering a $129 Budweiser Block Party package (a reserved seat, pit pass, buffet, access to the Budweiser chalet with driver appearances), Yancey's Fancy Cheese & Wine Festival (a ticket to the pit road suite, pit/garage pass, VIP parking in infield and 10 wine tasting coupons) and the $400 Budweiser Lounge (luxury suite ticket, pit/garage pass, beer, wine and food plus parking).

Parking is free both days as is admission for children 12 & under.
