CTSCC: Bell drives Camaro Z/28 to second consecutive TOTAL pole award

Matt Bell rolled to his second consecutive – and 11th career – TOTAL Pole Award in Friday’s Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Bell ran a lap of 1:35.765 in the No. 9 Stevenson Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.R co-driven by Lawson Aschenbach. The lap was a precise victory, as positions two, three and four were less than three-tenths off of Bell's time. 

‘Super Sub’ Piscitell Captures Third Straight ST Pole For Mazda

Entered as a substitute driver in the Street Tuner (ST) class for the third consecutive event, Justin Piscitell once again took advantage of the opportunity by scoring his third TOTAL Pole Award in as many races this season. Driving the No. 34 Alara Racing Mazda MX-5, Piscitell ran a track record lap of 1:38.805 for his fourth career pole.
