UPDATED Ratings: NASCAR Richmond, IndyCar Barber

Rain keeps pestering NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series, prompting a postponement from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon at Richmond after the rain-delayed day at Bristol the week before forced a switch from FOX to Fox Sports 1. The delayed Richmond race scored a 3.1 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, according to SportsMediaWatch, compared to a 3.0 for last year's regularly scheduled Saturday night race and a 3.4 in 2013. The overnight rating ranks as the third-lowest Sprint Cup overnight ever on FOX and the lowest for a Sunday afternoon race, SMW reports.

Meanwhile NASCAR's XFinity Series race from Richmond, which ran as scheduled on Friday night, scored a 0.63 rating on Fox Sports 1 for an average of 1.068 million viewers, according to sportstvratings.com. The Verizon IndyCar Series race from Barber scored a 0.25 rating, and averaged 300,000 viewers. That compares to a 0.3 for last year's race. NHRA's O'Reilly Spring Nationals at Houston averaged 399,000 viewers on ESPN2.
