Ex-IndyCar racer announces mentoring/coaching program
Former IndyCar and sports car racer Darren Manning has launched a mentoring and coaching program through his new company, iAdvance Motorsports. Darren and the iAdvance Motorsports team will offer custom-built mentor and coaching programs to ambitious drivers of all ages. The custom program will include topics such as driver essentials, career guidance, team interactions, media relations, and race- and test-day appearances.
"I'm excited to be back in the industry, and doing what I love," said Manning. "Climbing the ranks of motorsport with very little money growing up was tough. I learned what it takes to get to the top, and I'm now offering my expertise, skills, and experiences to drivers of all levels through iAdvance Motorsports."
Darren and iAdvance Motorsports has teamed up with PitFit Training, the industry leader in driver-specific fitness training, and Andy Priaulx, current BMW works driver and multi-world touring car champion.
"I will be pointing all of the iAdvance drivers to Jim Leo and the PitFit Training team with regards to driver-specific fitness programs. PitFit is the best, and I want the best for my drivers. Andy is a long-time friend of mine who will be a mentor for our drivers competing on the European circuit."
Darren has driven in nearly every category from karting to Formula One, and has over 30 years' experience in the industry. He sees that there is a gap in the market and is excited for the opportunity to guide and support drivers of all levels reach their goals quicker and with more success along the way.
