Western Conference Season Opens At Auto Club Speedway
FONTANA, Calif. (January 16, 2015) – A practice session and a qualifying session opened the season for the 167 drivers on the entry list at Auto Club Speedway on Friday, with overnight work to be done before the final grids are set on Saturday morning.
Saturday morning will open with 15 minute qualifying sessions at 8 a.m . Pacific time, followed by races for all seven race groups. The best lap turned in Friday or Saturday’s sessions will set the grids for Saturday’s race.
The first points-paying race of the season will be 30-minute races, with the first green flag of 10:25 a.m.
