Ferrari Challenge reveals 2015 calendar
The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the longest-running single-marque racing series in North America, has announced the schedule for its 2015 season. A full grid of 458 Challenge EVOs will race at seven renowned tracks across the United States and Canadian borders before ending the year at the Finali Mondiali.
Now in its 22nd year, the North American Ferrari Challenge will kickoff the year as a support race to the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway on January 21-25.
After a short break, the season will resume again in Florida at the notable Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 6-8. From there, the series will travel to northern California and race at Sonoma Raceway on April 24-26.
Three Canadian rounds will follow during the summer, first in conjunction with the Formula 1 World Championship at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on June 5-7. The following month on July 24-26, the Ferrari Challenge will make its return at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Toronto, Ontario. The sixth round will return to Le Circuit Mont Tremblant in Quebec on September 11-13.
The North American Ferrari Challenge champions will be named on October 29-November 1 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca when the Ferrari Challenge, XX Programs and F1 Clienti come together for the annual Ferrari Racing Days.
All three regions of the Ferrari Challenge—North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific—will race in the eagerly anticipated Finali Mondiali in December.
