FR3.5: Fantin to stay with Draco for 2015

Pietro Fantin will remain with Draco Racing for his third season in Formula Renault 3.5, the team has announced. The Brazilian, who finished 15th in the 2014 standings after switching to Draco from Arden for this season, stayed on with the team for post-season testing at Jerez and Motorland, setting the third- and eighth-fastest times in those tests.

"I'm really happy to have another opportunity to stay in World Series by Renault with Draco," he said. "The 2014 season has been a complicated one, but despite the difficulties we got a podium finish [in Russia].

"In addition to that, I feel I matured a lot as a driver thanks to the hard work done during this year. I want to aim for some better results in 2015, which is set to be a crucial year in my career."

Team boss Guto Negrao added: "Everybody likes Pietro, and in 2014 we laid the foundations needed to help him grow. We truly hope he will keep improving and reach the frontrunner positions he deserves."
