Asian Le Mans: OAK Morgan closes out season with win
OAK Racing's Morgan-Judd LMP2 completed its domination of the Asian Le Mans Series with a decisive victory in today's 3 Hours of Sepang.
After the OAK Morgan took pole with lead driver Ho-Pin Tung, teammate David Cheung opened up a 25-second gap to Eurasia's ORECA-Nissan during the opening stint. OAK's Ho-Pin TUNG took over 1 hour 45 minutes in, and cruised home to the checkered flag to secure the LM P2 Team Championship and an invitation to next year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Craft-Bamboo Racing, polesitter in the CN class, lost its advantage early as Frank Yu was overtaken by Denis Lian from Team Avelon Formula. However, on lap 33, his Wolf GB08 had an over-long pit stop, and Craft-Bamboo took the lead back. After Kevin Tse's steady stint he handed over to Jonathan Venter who brought the car home to the win and with it the 2014 Team and Driver Championship in the class.

The race finished with a torrential downpour in the last 20 minutes, so the cars completed the race under a safety car and the event was finally red-flagged with 5 minutes remaining. All eight starters managed to finish, however.
