F1: Marussia cars, equipment listed for auction

As first announced last week

, the bankrupt Marussia F1 team's cars and equipment will be auctioned off Dec. 16-17 and

motorsportsauctions.com

has now posted the first items for sale, including the complete car shown above. Other items posted for auction include a race transporter, shuttle trailer and F1 workshop benches.

The complete closure of the team headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire in the UK means auction house CA Global Partners will be selling off racecars (minus engines), a test lab, trailers, a machine shop,. the corporate offices, spare parts and tools and computer servers. The auction will be held at the team's race shop, with inspection be allowed on Saturday and Monday, Dec. 13 and 15.

The auction itself will be a live public webcast and online auction.
