Beautiful sights at the Classic 24 at Daytona

The HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona brought together a number of classic cars and star drivers at Daytona International Speedway. Marc Devis and Christien Traber took the overall win in Run Group A Hour 1 in the beautiful No. 11 1965 Lola T70 MK1. John Harold then captured Hour 2 and top Run Group B honors in the No. 94 1979 Chevron B23.

The Classic 24 included six different groups that competed in a rotating schedule for 24 hours of racing. The first group takes the green flag at 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by the second group at 2 p.m., continuing non-stop until 1 p.m. Sunday. Each group competes in four sessions of approximately 45 minutes each, including a five-minute mandatory pit stop.
