Renault Sport RS 01 spied testing at Monza

An onlooker captured this amateur video of the new 500hp Renault Sport RS 01 being put through its paces at the Italian Grand Prix venue of Monza. Looking very much like an Audi R8, the new Renault – which is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 from corporate sibling Nissan's GTR and incorporates carbon fiber bodywork – will be one of the stars of World Series by Renault in a new one-make Renault Sport Trophy category, which will serve as a springboard for professional GT and endurance series.
