MotoGP announces 2015 calendar
MotoGP has announced its 2015 calendar, with the race order mirroring this year's schedule.
The only change is that the British Grand Prix returns to Donington Park from Silverstone in a one-year stand-in deal while future host the Circuit of Wales is constructed. The British round retains its late-August calendar position.
The other minor tweak occurs in the early part of the season, where the gaps between the opening trio of flyaway races in Qatar, America and Argentina are closed up, with a two-week pause following before the European stretch begins with the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez at the start of May as usual.
The calendar remains at 18 rounds, with no reprise of the plans to add a Brazilian GP at Brasilia. This event had been scheduled for 2014, but was dropped at the start of the year.
