Sabates grandson dies after accidental shooting

An 18-year-old grandson of Chip Ganassi Racing co-owner Felix Sabates was killed Saturday night in an accidental shooting in Florida.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Feliciano Sabates was shot in the chest by a 17-year-old when he waved a 9mm handgun that the group of juveniles and adults had been passing around the group during a party. Sabates, known as "Chany" to his friends, reportedly died at the scene in the Palm Beach Gardens apartment. The 17-year-old shooter has been charged with manslaughter by culpable negligence.
