Houston, TX. – Coming off of an extraordinary weekend in Toronto, EFFORT Racing announces a new driver in the GT seat for Mid-Ohio. With the development of the cars and the team continuing, EFFORT welcomes Ryan Dalziel to its racing family and back to the Pirelli World Challenge.

Dalziel joins EFFORT following a great race in Indianapolis, at the United SportsCar Championship with a Pole position and best overall lap time. The 32-year-old Dalziel is originally from Glasgow, Scotland and currently lives with his wife Jessica in Windermere, Florida.

Looking forward to the favorable track conditions of Mid-Ohio, #41 GT-A driver Michael Mills will continue his quest to regain the driver point lead. This following very strong results in Toronto, having a win and a 2nd place finish.
Mills is quoted, “I’m fortunate that EFFORT has brought Ryan on. It's just another great opportunity for me to learn from one of the fastest drivers out there. I've been fortunate to learn for Jörg Bergmeister, Tim Bergmeister, Nick Tandy, and now Ryan Dalziel.
Dalziel is quoted, “I am really excited about this opportunity with EFFORT Racing. I have been watching them this year and it was great to see them get their maiden PWC victory in Toronto at the last race. I am a big fan of PWC and Mid-Ohio, so I'm really looking forward to the race. I want to do my best to continue their winning ways and help them in any way I can. I already know a couple of people on the team and have worked with Stefan Pfeiffer (engineer) for a number of seasons in Prototypes, so I know we will get together quickly with the Porsche."
