Extreme Speed Motorsports celebrated National Tequila Day in appropriate fashion.

Ryan Dalziel and Johannes van Overbeek placed their Tequila Patron-sponsored HPD ARX-03b prototypes 1-2 on the Brickyard Grand Prix grid.
 
Dalziel’s lap of 1:17.603 was more than good enough to place his No. 1 Extreme Speed Motorsports prototype on the pole for Friday’s race, which airs live at 5:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 and the Fox Sports Go app.
 
Colin Braun claimed his third PC pole of the season in the CORE autosport Oreca FLM 09 Chevrolet. Giancarlo Fisichella’s Risi Competizione Ferrari F458 Italia topped the GTLM field, while Dane Cameron earned the GTD pole in his Turner Motorsport BMW Z4.
