NASCAR: Rain postpones Daytona Sprint Cup race
Saturday's 400-mile Daytona NASCAR Sprint Cup race has been postponed until Sunday due to rain.
The race was scheduled for a Saturday night slot and due to get underway just before 8 p.m, but with heavy rain at Daytona and more forecast, the decision was ultimately taken to delay the event.
The rescheduling means it will no longer be a night race, with a new start time of 11 a.m. Eastern time on Sunday, although rain is forecast for tomorrow as well.
Friday's qualifying session was also affected by the weather, as rain halted the session early and left David Gilliland on pole position.
