F1: Sutil doesn't regret Sauber move

Adrian Sutil says he has no regrets about leaving the Force India Formula 1 team for Sauber, despite the contrasting fortunes of the two squads so far this season.

Force India lies fourth in the F1 constructors' championship, after scoring points in every race so far this year, while Sutil's new team Sauber has yet to register on the scoreboard after eight grands prix. The Swiss squad has struggled with chassis and engine issues on the C33, but Sutil is happy to see his old team doing well and is hopeful Sauber can perform just as strongly once it gets on top of its problems.

"I had wonderful years with Force India, and I needed a change and I went to Sauber," Sutil said, when asked if he was frustrated to see Force India do so well while Sauber struggles. "So this chapter is done for me and I'm happy to see them be successful, and I did a lot of work so maybe this is [why they have] what they have right now.

"I'm not thinking back, [and] that it's a shame I'm not there. It's OK they have a good result, I am happy for them.

"Life goes on – new team, new challenge, no regrets. It would be great to do as well as Force India with this team in the future."
