At the age of 16 years and 202 days old and as the first member of the Dyson Racing Junior Development Program, Matt McMurry became the youngest person to drive in and to finish the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 14-15, 2014. He drove with Chris Dyson and Tom Kimber-Smith in the Greaves Motorsport #42 that finished 25th overall and 11th in the LMP2 class. The new marks are entered into the Guinness Book of World Records and beat those previously held by Ricardo Rodriguez in 1959 and Gunnar Jeannette in 2000, respectively.
