New SAFEisFAST competition: Win a Stand 21 race suit

SAFEisFAST.com is offering the chance for young racing drivers across the world to win a top-level race suit from Stand 21.

The brand-new "La Couture" model, launched in March 2014, is homologated to the very highest FIA 8856-2000 standard. Used by the likes of Oriol Servia (pictured) and all of the Porsche LMP1 drivers, including Mark Webber, the multi-layered suit features numerous stretchable comfort areas and pre-formed stretchable gussets along with the patented 'Heat Stress Control' technology.

The race suit is an essential part of a driver's safety equipment. It should protect in case of fire whilst also offering comfort and mobility to enable peak performance during a race.

To give yourself a chance of winning the "La Couture" race suit, simply click here and answer four questions about safety.

The winner will be chosen from all of the correct responses.

SAFEisFast.com is a free online resource also offering video tutorials on safety, fitness, mental skills, race craft, career development, sponsorship, marketing and more to assist the careers of drivers in all forms of racing. The website was created by the Road Racing Drivers Club (RRDC), led by president Bobby Rahal, in conjunction with the FIA Institute.

Since its launch, there have been hundreds of thousands of views of the online tutorials from visitors representing more than 130 countries. The videos recently have been made available to a wider global audience with the inclusion of closed-captions in 71 different languages.

With a similar goal of spreading motorsport safety knowledge, Stand 21 runs the "Racing Goes Safer" foundation (www.racinggoessafer.com), which organizes lectures to meet directly with the motor sport industry and showcase the latest advances in this area.
